Who Supports the Supporter?

You hold space for others every day but who’s holding space for you?
Coaching supervision gives you the over-sight (literally super-vision) you need to sharpen your practice, safeguard your clients, and sustain yourself.

In some professions, attending supervision is mandatory if one wants to keep practicing with a license or an accreditation.

This is particularly true in the field of mental health, where therapists are required by their professional organizations to engage in regular supervision with a trained/accredited supervisor.

If you need to fulfill your CCEs for your ICF credential this meets the requirement and provides you 1:1 mentoring with a master certified coach so you can confidently manage client dilemmas, self-doubt spirals or burnout moments with confidence.

Supervision helps you process it all in a safe space without judgment.

FAQs

  • Yes, one hour of supervision counts for 1 core competency Continuing Coach Education (CCE). You can submit up to 10 CCEs from supervision for your credential renewal.

  • No, you don’t have to start supervision right away — but we do believe that every coach should begin regular supervision at some point in their career.

    Here’s why:

Coaching supervision isn’t just another “nice-to-have.”
It’s one of the most powerful tools you can use to keep growing, sharpening your skills, and showing up as the best version of yourself for your clients.

    Supervision helps you:

    • See your coaching from a more objective, grounded place

    • Build deeper self-awareness and confidence

    • Feel less alone in the work (because let’s be honest — coaching can get isolating fast)

In the beginning, most coaches focus on skill-building — and coach training + mentor coaching are perfect for that season. But focusing only on skills creates a ceiling. It keeps you in the “doing” of coaching instead of expanding into the “being” of a masterful, reflective, deeply present coach.

Supervision is what breaks that ceiling.
It stretches your thinking, deepens your awareness, and helps you understand yourself and your coaching at a whole new level.

    In other words:
    Training builds your foundation.
    Supervision helps you evolve.

  • You can bring any topic that is important to you in regards to your coaching practice.

In the first couple of minutes we will connect, check-in and celebrate wins. Then form a coaching agreement based on the requested topic. We will spend a majority of the time using coaching techniques and having meaningful discussions based on what’s coming up. We will wrap up in the last 10 minutes and talk about key takeaways learned from the session and put together an action or reflection plan to keep you moving forward in your coaching mastery.

  • Yes — that’s absolutely an option if you want it.

We can sit in on some (or all) of your coaching calls with a volunteer or a client you choose. After the session, we’ll give you supportive, specific feedback so you can clearly see where your strengths are, where your growth edges might be, and how to continue elevating your coaching skills with confidence.
