What Happens When 6 Women Say Yes to the Mountain (and to Themselves)
There’s something wildly beautiful about saying yes to a calling that makes zero logical sense—but every cell in your body knows it’s right.
That was me on 8/8—Lionsgate Portal Day—lying on a yoga mat during a breathwork ceremony while Lion King music blasted through the speakers. (Because of course.) Out of nowhere, I got the clearest divine download I’ve ever received:
You need to hike Mount Kilimanjaro.
I said yes.
And without even knowing how, or with whom, or why exactly—I posted it on Facebook. And that post sparked a chain reaction that brought together a group of incredible, adventurous, heart-centered women, all saying yes to something bigger than themselves.
This isn’t just a hike. It’s a spiritual pilgrimage. It’s a reclamation. It’s a fundraiser to build a school for children in Tanzania.
Each woman in this group has her own reason for climbing. Some are honoring lost parents. Some are turning 40, 50, or 57. Some are grieving, healing, searching. All of us are transforming.
We’re dealing with sore knees, perimenopause, altitude fears, spiritual downloads, toe warmers, mom guilt, missing luggage anxiety, and old stories about “not being strong enough.” But we’re showing up. We’re climbing anyway.
